This symposium is sponsored and organized by the Communications Society of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communications Engineers (IEICE), and will be held in cooperation with the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA), the Antennas and Propagation Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE/AP-S), the Antennas Society of the Chinese Institute of Electronics (AS-CIE), the Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Communications, Information Technology Association of Thailand (ECTI), the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP), the Institute of Antenna Engineers of Taiwan, the International Union of Radio Science (URSI), the Korean Institute of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science (KIEES), and the Taiwan Microwave Association.

The ISAP is a series of annual international symposium for the exchange on research and development in antennas, propagation, electromagnetic-wave theory, and other related fields. The first ISAP was held in Sendai in 1971, and this is the 30th time. The ISAP series have become absolutely one of major international conferences in the fields of Antennas and Propagation in the world.
